Entropia Universe : Gathering Teleporters

Tags :

On Planet Calypso the most efficient way of travelling long distances is using teleporters (TP's). Teleporters are scattered throughout the map and allow instant travel between them. The bad news is that you have to manually activate them first before you can use them, the good news is that you will get to explore the continent, discover the wildlife dangers and it will only take some time, well actually quite a bit of time, but activating as many teleporters as possible as soon as possible will help you a lot when hunting in teams, getting to know the game, reaching events or simply travelling quickly to different places. It may also be one of the requirements asked of you before you can join a society. This guide will describe the most efficient route between them to avoid some of the dangers.

If you're lucky enough to know some armed friends or maybe even have a mentor, you might want to ask them to come along and get rid of the creatures on the way as some can be quite aggressive. If you don't know anyone available to tag along try to steer around the red dots on your radar. Most creatures will leave you alone as long as you don't let them inside the smallest circle on your radar (50 meters). If you do get chased down by one or more of them you can try to run for automated turrets around cities/outposts, or you can get into nearby water and hope they will drown before they eat you.

While you're putting on your hiking/running boots, keep in mind that as long as you're not wearing any armour, getting hit/killed won't cost you anything and you'll simply revive at a nearby reviving point. You can also be transported to the nearest reviving point by pressing "T" at any time, this might save you some running time. If you follow the map included with this guide you can safely use this method from where the dotted line starts. However, if you don't travel the required distance first, or stray from the route too far and press "T" you can end up at different reviving points. Some of these are heavily surrounded by nasty creatures and you can get "stuck" there. If you follow the route explained here, there is least chance of that happening. If you do get stuck at an outpost, there is a team of players dedicated to rescue missions, you can contact them at: www.euforces.com.

Another thing to consider is that if you have too many items in your inventory, they will slow you down, so putting things in storage before you go might mean the difference between life or death when you try to outrun angry creatures. Also, as soon as you come close to a teleported, it will show up on your radar as a blue dot, you can use it to navigate the last part of the distance.
