They require a lot of material
Mortal has nine life skills; I personally think that transformation materials, collecting OD, acquisition are the three skills which the general public can earn Mortal gold. The other six skills can also earn Mortal gold, but they require a lot of material, form, scroll inputting. I believe that most players do not have such time and effort.
